Hiking in So Cal

One of the great things about committing to a goal is the new set of experiences introduced to the process of trying to reach that goal.

In my preparation to climb to Base Camp of Mt. Everest in March/April, I am now enjoying the great outdoors on a series of practice hikes.  On a recent family vacation to Laguna Beach, we made time for three hikes.

The saying, “It’s the journey not the destination” is indeed true when you allow yourself to actually enjoy the journey.  Doing it feels great!
