Purpose on the Path
It’s an ongoing struggle to hold onto the lessons I learned being with the Sherpas at Mt Everest. Having a clear purpose is a key to success for any endeavor. I start each day by being conscience of my purpose. Sometimes it’s a big concept like being present for my family. Other days it’s focusing on resolving a situation at work. Just the act of taking a moment to stop and remind myself helps. I’m trying, which is a purpose in itself.
I invite you to watch and share this two minute video shot by my friend Brian Wimer after I returned from Nepal. The ash on my face was done at a ceremony at Mt. Everest Base Camp to bring good luck and a long life (represented by the “white beard”).
