What an amazing day for tennis. After so many close finishes, Andy Murray finally captured a major championship by winning the US Open. He battled through the “pressure” he must have been feeling for a long time.

While not playing on any stage remotely as large, I often feel the pressure to “perform” can be overwhelming. It takes away from the enjoyment of the game.  I recently reconnected with Happy Bhalla, a tennis professional who teaches what he calls “Zen Tennis.”  Happy shares the important Sherpa characteristic of separating the ego from reality. And he reminds us to focus on the present.  This became extremely relevant in Nepal.

I invite you to listen to this interview and learn lessons from Happy that can add happiness on and off the court.
